"Fancy yourself as a budding director? Then keep reading as Feederweb are giving you the opportunity to create your very own music video for "Miss You"!
To enter the competition entrants must create a video from scratch either working alone or in a group. It can be anything from animation, live performance or narrative. Think back to the boiler suits of "Tangerine", the elephant from "Buck Rogers", the fan videos from "Just a Day"!
We are looking for a really exciting and creative video. It can be quirky, cool or down right bizarre so get your thinking caps on and get creative!
Once you have completed your video you must upload it to the Feeder YouTube group, click here to join
The winning video will be picked by the band and will appear on a future Feeder DVD single.
Deadline for the competition is Friday 11th April 2008."

The Videography, Band Section, Links and Archives are now working properly, but the Albums and Singles sections will still be looking a little strange until the end of the week. Apologies for any inconvenience caused, of course and the website should be fully refurbished by this time next week.

We just can't stop fiddling. Be warned - if you intend on using this website over the next couple of days lots of strange things will be happening, such as text overlapping other text, images overlapping other images and demons invading your dreams. All should be resolved by the end of the week... Just don't look at the website too much until then.

Fflam - Wales's new contemporary music festival, due to happen at Swansea's Singleton Park over the weekend of Friday 13th until Sunday 15th July - will not being going ahead on those dates.
A statement has just been issued by the organisers Straight Music, which reads as follows:-
Due to consistently bad weather conditions over the last few weeks, we regret that the Fflam Festival has been postponed. This has been a hard, but well considered decision and we believe it is the best one for all concerned. Due to the bad weather, we have been delayed in putting the infrastructure in place and it is a big concern that the weather conditions will hugely dampen the experience we want to give all our festival goers. Postponing the festival will mean that we can give everyone the Fflam festival experience they deserve, bands, organisers and festivalgoers alike. We expect the new date to be at the end of the summer and are doing all we can do get everything reorganised as quickly and efficiently as possible so that we can confirm the date within the week. Full refunds will shortly be available from point of purchase for anyone who wishes to take this option, but we would like to reassure everyone that the festival WILL take place and encourage them to await further information on the new date before making this decision.
Meanwhile, Feederweb have denied that Feeder were going to participate in the event anyway - despite it being announced that they were going to play on the Fflam Festival Website.
Feederweb - the band's official website was updated for the first time in sixty-seven years this week, with news that Feeder would be playing at the Redbourn Festival... and that the band had produced this cool video on youtube...

Well, kind of. AC Milan may have put Liverpool to bed to claim the Uefa Champions League tonight, but Feeder's 'Feeling A Moment' was played in the stadium as Paolo Maldini raised aloft the famous trophy. And to think, Grant thought having one of the band's song played in the background on Eastenders made them famous...

Well FFS-hero Dirk Benedict failed to win Celebrity Big Brother. No doubt because of how utterly-butterly our campaign was. (Ie. Rubbish.) Still, we salute the Faceman for being an absolute legend and giving us something to think about whilst Feeder remain locked away in the tallest tower of the tallest castle on the tallest mountain just outside Camden.
FFS is the 2007 Unofficial Sponsor of Dirk Benedict winning Channel 4's Celebrity Big Brother. Dirk goes up against such nobodies as Carole Malone (who?), Donny-shit band, poor sales-Tourette and some bird who shagged Teddy Sheringham. To pledge our support to 'Face', and in light of the current Feeder-related-stuff-drought, FFS will become Dirk's Unofficial website for the next three weeks. For the latest information on Big Brother click here. For more Dirk related goodness, keep checking FFS for updates.
FFS would like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas with plenty of presents, chocolate and alcohol. If we knew where you all lived, and weren't completely skint, we'd come down to your local and buy you a pint. Have a good one.
The 'A Place Inside Our Minds' tribute albums have gone back on sale for anyone who missed out on the first run and are available to buy from http://www.myspace.com/feederfantribute. The albums consist of 46 Feeder covers by fans from around the world and cost £12 including postage and packaging. All proceeds go towards the Marie Curie Cancer Care.
Feeder are re-releasing the 2004 hit B-Side album 'Picture of Perfect Youth' next year. The album, which was originally available only on the band's official website, is penned in for a release on February 5th and is available to pre-order now at most online music stores. The CD will feature the same tracklisting and artwork as the original release but will come in a regular CD jewel case and will not be numbered as a limtied edition. The band will also be selling off any remaining stock of LP's from the original release.
WarChild are offering bidders the chance to win a framed platinum edition of Feeder : The Singles after Feeder's November WarChild charity concerts. The framed limited edition will be open for bids on eBay for the next five days and would make the perfect Christmas present for one lucky fan. All proceeds go to Warchild. Click here for auction.
Welcome back to Feeder Fan Site. As you may or may not have noticed, we've been unavailable for the past month or so whilst the website has been re-designed. The refurb has mainly been cosmetic but new features are well on their way, including the new FFS Friday Night Chat, which will be online from 7pm GMT every Friday starting today.
FFS will be undergoing some minor cosmetic changes over the coming weeks. During this time, pages might not work properly, text will overlap images and small children will probably cry. However, by the end of the month the website will be looking spiffing again with some brand new stuffs. Swahili!
From Feederweb: We are delighted to confirm that we have added a 2nd night at the legendary Roundhouse in Camden. The North London venue has recently undergone a total refurbishment and looks set to be one of the country's premier live venues.
The Coronet is a small and beautiful theatre steeped in history at Elephant and Castle and is along with the Roundhouse will allow fans to see the band and their supporters in a truly intimate venues.
Feeder will be playing full electric sets with special guests appearing each night. Each night the set will be different. So, expect the unexpected.
Feeder are delighted to have the support of The Young Knives who are opening up on Monday 6th November, Boy Kill Boy on Tuesday 7th and Larrikin Love on Thursday the 9th. They are all amazing acts and will be a great start to the evening.
Feeder have had a longstanding association with War Child and the idea of the North and South London shows was born following the boys trip to Democratic Republic of Congo earlier this year. We hope to generate in the region of £100,000 from the shows that will go directly to the charity.
Feeder Fan Site finished in a respectable #132 at this years Digital Music Awards this week - 32 positions higher than last year. Whilst 132 might not sound too impressive, it does mean that FFS is officially more popular than the Sugababes, and, at the rate we're gaining each year, we should be Number #1 by 2016. Thanks to everyone who voted for us - hugs'n kisses all round.
The Sandstone Veterans are pleased to present their new and improved website at http://www.sandstoneveterans.co.uk. The band, which features adopted Feeder member Dean Tidey now offers exclusive video footage and previously un-released Sandstone Veterans tracks for anyone willing to spare five minutes of their time to register with the site - and in the wake of the current Feeder-drought, we strongly recommend it with two thumbs up.
Feeder are set to play two London gigs in aid of War Child on November 6th and 9th. The band will play two "unique evenings" at legendary London venues - The Roundhouse in Camden and the Coronet in Elephant & Castle. We have been promised special guests and surprises for both shows and the band will play a completely different set each night and promise to play some unexpected old tracks. All proceeds from the gigs will go to War Child too.
Tickets go on sale from Friday 22nd September (that's this Friday people) for £25 and can be purchased from http://www.gigsandtours.com.
Feeder Fan Site and the FFS Pro Boards are entering into the People's Choice Award for best Unofficial Music Site in this year's BT Digital Music Awards 2006. FFS reporter Chloe Yates was front row at this year's Leeds Festival. Find out what she thought in the Articles section right now, daddio. Also today: we've uploaded some screenshots from the Forget About Tomorrow alternate video, the Satellite News video and also the American version of High, all in the videography section. Reviews will follow when we sober up.
The new "Other" section is now online and available from the menu. The directory states various promos, releases, flyers, imports and bootlegs from the Feeder history and will be regularly updated in future. If you have any contributions, scans or photos or anything Feeder related - please feel free to email us with them and we'll find a place for them on the website. Also, we've finally overhauled the Albums and Singles sections, which were both looking a little worse for wear.
Given the lack of recent news and activites, FFS has been searching "YouTube" for Feeder videos (porn) and can recommend the following vids for your video viewing pleasures: Feeder in the DRC, Feeder playing in Rockit, Feeder play Oxygen at the V Festival 2000, High at the Hammersmith 2006, My Perfect Day at the Bizzarre Festival, Turn on Top of the Pops, Find The Colour Live on CDUK, Waiting For Changes at the Rock AM Ring, We Can't Rewind at the Rock AM Ring, Home For Summer, The Power of Love, The Singles TV ad and finally Jenny dancing to Just A Day.

Feeder's latest single Save Us has bombed in the UK Singles Charts - only just managing to make it into the top 40, making it Feeder's worst charting single since Day In Day Out way back in March 1999. FFS blames the disaster on Grant's love of lesbians being announced too late on in the week.
Feeder front man confirmed what we always expected today during an interview with the Sun. He claims "There were two lesbians snogging at the front row at Brixton. I was on stage and did a double take. I didn’t think we had a particularly large lesbian following. I don’t mind it at all though! It’s definitely better than two men." The filthy bugger. Read the full interview by clicking here, Rhonda.
Cheers to Charlie for bringing this important breaking news to our attention.
FFS would like to today announce it's own love of lesbians. To celebrate, we want you to send us your lesbian pictures and videos. The very best ones will be forwarded to Feederweb for Grant to take a look at, too.
We've taken the week off work to bring you an exclusive FFS Save Us review which can now be found (coincidentally) in the singles section. Plus, as an extra special bonus, we've also reviewed the new video too, complete with a selection of stills and everything. Find that in the Videography section. Spanking.
(From Feederweb) On November 18th this year Mark will embark on an (two week) epic adventure. A 2500km motorbike trip around South Africa. They need to average about 220 km per day (roughly London to Leeds, off road) to stay on schedule so it is going to be pretty grueling.. There are 100 riders doing this with the aim of donating the fundraising and the Yamaha, AG 200s to Riders For Health at the end. The charity was set up by 500cc World Motorcycle Champion Randy Mamola and Andrea and Barry Coleman, 15 years ago, to aid and train outreach health workers in Africa. This really is important work! There is no point in providing medicines if they cannot be distributed to the people who need them. This is the gap which Riders is bridging. For more information on the charity please visit www.riders.org. Mark's friends at Riders, Yamaha and Justgiving have helped him set a web page where you can go to donate securely. Click here.

13.05.06 Grant denies more split rumours
Words by Stereoboard.com
Feeder frontman Grant Nicholas has denied reports the band are ready to split after failing to secure a new record deal. Rumours have been abound that Nicholas had decided to embark on a new musical venture after the release of their singles album, but the singer has refuted those claims. He said: "People thought I was saying it would be our last album ever, which isn't the case. "We might do a new deal with our current label, or we might go with a different label, we're not sure yet. But we're not splitting up. There's the possibility of us all doing other stuff in the future. Who knows in this business? But I've no plans to finish just yet. I think there's a time when bands do need to stop but I don't think Feeder have reached that yet."
Nicholas also played down talk of a rift with drummer Mark Richardson, who only joined the group on a permanent basis in 2005 following the suicide of founder member Jon Lee three years earlier. "Mark and myself are very different people," Nicholas added. "And it's still taking time. But it's working and he's starting to really fit in now."

29.04.06 Feeder inStore Live at HMV in London
(Taken from Feederweb 28 April 2006)
"FEEDER will play a full electric set at HMV, Oxford Street, London at 6pm on Wednesday 3rd May. This is the first full electric live instore the band have played since the legendary Tower Records, Piccadilly Instore of January 2001 to accompany the release of Buck Rogers. Crowd surfing from the racks and a classic performance. This was followed by a semi acoustic instore at HMV in 2003 in support of Just the Way I'm Feeling. This was the biggest instore in HMV's history, with over 1500 people at the store. Such is the anticipated demand to meet the band that the signing session only will be restricted to fans with wristbands. These will be issued on a 'first come first served' basis - one wristband per person from the store opening on the day of the event. The store opens at 9am on Wednesday 3rd May and the band will take to the stage at 6pm prompt for a high octane 30 minute set. The live event itself will obviously be open fully to all."

Simply fill out the text form at the bottom right of the page and click "submit". T will try to answer as many of your questions as he can in his new article coming soon.

Onlookers described the tumble weed as 'big', 'round' and 'hairy' and was said to be moving at a slow, steady, bouncing pace. However, a spokeperson for Echo issued a statement claiming that the sighting was "complete and utter fabrication" and claimed that fans and rumour mongers had "too much time on their hands". More as it happens.
15.02.06 FFS Helmet makes 36 quid for WarChild

Also of note and slightly less exciting was the sale of the official Feeder designed military helmet which sold for a measly 330GBP. Barely worth posting it for that...

It won't come as a surprise to many people that the lone B-Side for the upcoming Shatter/Tender single has been revealed as REM cover Everybody Hurts. The track which Feeder have covered for the War Child effort is going to be a 'full band version with sprinkles' and should sound different to the one currently available for download.

Feeder not splitting...
Reputable (cough) music site Drowned In Sound reported that Feeder would be splitting after their next album following an apparent mis-quote during the PlayStation weekend at Thorpe Park where Feeder mimed Shatter, live, for the first time. The official website has issued a statement saying that Feeder will never-ever-ever split up and that as a precautionary measure, Echo have selotaped all three band members together.

22.08.05 Feeder declare October 10th a National Holiday
The band haved deemed that Monday October 10th should indeed become a national holiday across the UK for the release of new single Shatter. The decision comes as fans begin preperations for Shatter's imminent 'domination of the world', beginning with the UK Singles Charts with FFS urging fans to even 'buy a copy for your gran'. Unfortunately your boss/teacher might not 'recognise' this new holiday so we've consulted a local doctor who has supplied us with a statuary sick note especially for you to print out and hand in to guarantee yourself the day off to go and buy Shatter. We've left the medical condition up to you. You could choose something exotic like lyme disease, rabies or even e-coli. Of course you could always just say you're 'shattered'. (You see what we did there?) Download the sick note at the top of the page.
22.08.05 Win a signed copy of Two Colours

Pushing The Senses entered the charts at number 30 this week, the lowest placing in the Feeder singles chart since Day In Day Out in March 1999. 11.06.05
Feeder wowed Donington Park last night with a cracking set of old and new. "Kings of the three-minute indie-pop song, Feeder's appearance is somewhat symbolic, signalling a welcome divergence from the olde rock of yore to a much broader range of styles as their focused indie suss caresses our hardened rock minds, reaching places the days heavier, riff-wielding bands simply fail to reach. 'High' is an exercise in restrained brilliance, while their stadium-conquering worth is proven only too well with life-affirming indie anthem 'Buck Rogers'. Grants fragile vocals radiate an understated cool, shades of colour cascading through their stirring, typically sun-bleached sounds with heart-warming results. A girl, waving a Welsh flag, is plucked from the crowd and paraded on stage, not only showing their allegiance to their native Wales but also their undeniable connection with their fans..." said the official Download Website. Feeder played Come Back Around, Insomnia, Waiting For Changes, Jtwif, FAM, We Can't Rewind, Comfort In Sound, Bitter Glass, Tender, You're My Evergreen, High, My Perfect Day, Descend, Pushing The Senses, Buck Rogers and Just A Day.

Feeder Fan Site News
I regret to announce that Feeder Fan Site will be closing on May 31st 2005. The site was originally going to close in March when my son, Iwan was born, but I decided to keep the website running a little longer because the ffs pro boarders forced me too. Unfortunately it is proving too much work and too costly to keep the website going. The website was created, written and is updated entirely by myself and I have other projects which I now wish to focus on.
The FFS Pro Boards will continue to run as normal.
I'd like to thank everyone for all their support and contributions to the website and I'd also like to thank the band themselves, who despite their critics continue to produce the best music in the world. Cheers guys.

We have enough of a back catalogue to keep it rocky, but we're not going to go out there and pretend to be Slayer. We're planning on going back to some songs weve not played for a really long time from the Swim and Polythene albums. It may be the last time we play them, but itd be great to do. 01.04.05 SHATTER confirmed as Feeder's next single!
What's that you say? I'm not falling for that one again. No sir. You're right, we're lying, Shatter hasn't been confirmed as the band's next single. It should be though! So we're using today to launch our 'release Shatter as a single campaign'! Shatter is quite possibly the best Feeder song ever and not releasing it would be a criminal offence. Most fans have already voiced their opinion on the subject and even Grant himself has admitted it'd be a good idea.

21.03.05 Site Updates & Latest News
We've made a few minor site updates over the past five days including the finalisation of our discography section which is now complete. Make sure you check out the latest Yesterday Went Too Soon Project photos too, courtesy of Terence Woods and a couple of special guest stars...
*Feeder have been confirmed for the Rock Werchter Festival in Belgium on Sunday the 3rd of July as well as adding several new dates to their busy European schedule including performances in Barcelona and Madrid. Check out the Whats happening when and where listings on the right of this page.
*Feeder have also been included on a couple of new compilation albums this month including NOW 60 and The Album 2005, which both feature Tumble And Fall. We must stress, however, that FFS does not condone the purchase of, or listening to Now 60.
*The official website is offering fans the chance to create a B-Side for the third PTS single by using the special U-MYX software included on CD2 of Feeling A Moment which is released on April 4th. The software allows you to tinker with the music and create you're own unique mix of the song. It also allows elements to be removed entirely such as drums, guitars, vocals, or even all three, although that really isn't recommended if you want to win. Check out the official site (feederweb.com) for more details.

It was much better back then. You waited for a record in excitement and on the day it was released you listened to it with every fan at the same time. This magic is gone.
Anyway I'm looking forward of holding the new album in my hands on 16th June. I hope it will get some nice reviews.
Cheers!
:)
